
APELS
The Association pour la protection de l’environnement du lac Selby (APELS) is a non-profit organization created in 1983. It is our 35th anniversary this year!
OUR MISSION AS PROVIDED IN OUR RULES AND REGULATIONS IS AS FOLLOWS:
to gather the people interested in the improvement of Lake Selby and to find and resolve the common problems encountered by lake residents;
to promote awareness-building activities among the population as required and according to available resources.
As provided by our mission, a seven (7) member executive committee, elected alternately every year (4 and 3) during the association's annual general meeting (AGM), tend to the association's needs.
The association's current executives:

CHRYSTIAN BORDUAS (resident of rue Larose), vice-president;
GILLES NADEAU (resident of rue Larose), treasurer;
ESTELLE BERNARD (resident of rue Jetté), secretary;
VICKY COUPAL (resident of rue Vaughan), councillor;
CLAUDE GIASSON (resident of rue Jetté), councillor;
ANDRÉ PINSONNEAULT (resident of rue Baillon), councillor.
